This family had a lot of both and a little bravery too

I was amazed how this Mom of 6 made it look so easy

She has some help of course

and someone to hold onto

Here's the Scoop

I followed little Lizzy and her family to the end of the pier....

They enjoyed a sweet treat with Mom

The wind was blowing, but it's never too chilly for some ice cream

Or cotton candy if you choose


A peek at the water

and a little love from her brothers

Made for the perfect day

When the treats were gone and tummys full

We had to stop for one last look over the ocean

Family Tree

When life is getting hard for me,

I climb up in my favorite tree

and look down on the world below

where grass is green and flowers grow.

I start to feel good sitting there,

secure within my branchy chair.

Up high, the things that made me frown

look way too small to bring me down.

The sky’s more blue; the sun’s more bright,

and all my dark clouds turn out white

when I climb up my favorite tree.

Oh, what a friend he is to me!
